When things were quiet at the canoe-O table, I would take my trusty camera and try to catch action shots of the foot-O racers as they sprinted for the finish. The photography was challenging, for me at least. I had to use the flash because of low light levels and I was never sure when another racer would come bounding around the corner.
This is the first of a whole series of shots of foot-O finishers, some from Saturday and some from Sunday. I realize that I am not catching people at their best, but I think that the shots are worth saving for their action (at least when they are in focus).
