GouldHome > Terre de Haut, Guadeloupe (Mar 26, 2006, 12:07pm) Only one picture from the airplane ride home was worth keeping. This picture is the island of Tere de Haut, which is part of Guadeloupe. And, it only took me 2 hours of staring at maps of various Caribbean Islands to figure that out.
GouldHome > A view of our room from the outside (Mar 25, 2006, 05:31pm) Here is a view of our room at the Cocoa Cottages. I am standing in the patio area, looking towards the outside door of our room. If you look closely, you can see our unmade bed at the far end of the room.
GouldHome > The TV Room from outside (Mar 25, 2006, 05:30pm) There is also a common room at the Cocoa Cottages with a few chairs, padded benches and (of all things) a drum set.
GouldHome > Cocoa Cottages dining area (Mar 25, 2006, 05:30pm) This is the dining area at the Cocoa Cottages. It is under two of the guest rooms. At the far end, you can see the kitchen. Guests sit around the two tables.
GouldHome > Patio outside one room at Cocoa Cottages (Mar 25, 2006, 05:29pm) This is the patio outside the upper room in the second building at the Cocoa Cottages.
GouldHome > Flags representing the political parties (Mar 25, 2006, 05:06pm) Many telephones all over the island sport either red or blue flags. The flags represent the two political parties. In different sections of the island you drive through mostly blue or mostly red sections. This telephone pole, however, seems to be covering all its options.
