Fall colors in Prospect Hill Park
(Oct 18, 2004, 3:09pm)
The next day I sent to Prospect Hill Park, in Waltham, MA. Prospect Hill Park is a 250 acre wooded park with a couple of large hills, and an abandoned ski area. It is also the site of a yearly orienteering meet.I took an hour off from work to visit Prospect Hill Park in the afternoon to see if I could fine any interesting foliage colors. Unfortunately, the park was mostly yellow and green, with very little red which made for less than exciting pictures.
Daphne thought that this picture was worth keeping. It shows a pair of ruins that straddle one of the trails (specifically the Boy Scout Trail) under a canopy of seasonal colors.
