  • Entrance to Titou Gorge
  (Mar 21, 2006, 08:05am)

Titou Gorge (sometimes spelled "Ti Tou") is a popular tourist spot, and is located at the very start of the boiling lake hike. Here is a picture of the entrance to Titou Gorge. You can see the steps down, and the first pool. The water cascading down the rocks is actually warm (although the pool is cold). The gorge itself extends to the right, behind the stairs.
