Galapagos Shark

Taken while snorkeling at Kicker Rock near Española Island in the Galapagos. We also saw a white-tip shark, but the photograph was even worse than this one. The sharks had no interest in the swimmers. Our usual reaction when seeing a shark was to chase it with the camera, rather than swim away.

Sting Ray

Seen in the shallow waters next to Darwin Beach on Genovesa Island in the Galapagos. The water was very shallow an dthe sting ray (probably a juvenile) was photographed from above.
