    Surgeon fish and squirrel fish in Bayhaut bay

Not far from shore was a ledge under which numerous fish would hang-out.  I used the camera's flash to catch this picture of a couple of fish under the ledge.

In previous trips, I used a disposable waterproof cameras for our snorkling pictures.  This trip, I used an underwater case for our Canon S400 (Digital Elph) camera.  The Canon takes much better pictures than the disposible cameras, and the display on the back of the Canon makes it easier to frame the shot.  However, with the reduced light conditions under water, the Canon's autofocus delay was an issue, especially when trying to take pictures of moving fish (coral was much easier).
