Petit Byahaut seen from the water (Jul 16, 2004, 02:27pm) Here is the resort of Petit Byahaut, seen in its entirety from the water. If you look closely, you can see one of the suites in the trees to the left. The buildings behind the palm trees in the center of the picture are the dining room and other resort main buildings. The large roof you see on the right side is the "treehouse" where the resort owner lives with his family.
Quetelles, near the New Guinea Reef (Jul 16, 2004, 02:38pm) On the afternoon of our second full day on St. Vincent, Brian took Daphne and me snorkling at New Guinea Reef. The reef was only a short boat ride from the resort. Normally a popular diving spot (I understand that there are spectatular black corals 50 feet down), we were quite content to restrict ourselves to the water surface. The reef is against the side wall of a bay. This picture shows coastline of the bay itself, taken just before we jumped in the water.
