    Kingstown, St. Vincent
  (Jul 17, 2004, 04:08pm)

We never really visited Kingstown, the main city on St. Vincent, except to drive through. On the drive back from our vocano hike we got a glimse of the city, approaching from the east. Here is the best picture that I have of the city of Kingstown.
    Talk about your undesirable lot
  (Jul 17, 2004, 04:22pm)

St. Vincent is a mountainous (ok, hilly) island. There is not a lot of flat land, wnat what flat land they have is not wasted on housing. Although this house is an extreme case, it is not all that unusual. Houses are built right into the side of the hills. You are out of luck (or money) if you want a flat lot near the city.
    Brody, the other resort dog
  (Jul 18, 2004, 08:13am)

Poor Brody. He has a wound on his hind quarters that he insists on picking at, in typical dog fashion. Brian finally was forced to put "the collar" on Brody so he could heal.

This is the last picture from Petit Byahaut. A few hours later, we boarded the sailboat Fortitude, our home for the next five nights. You can see the pictures from the next leg of our journey in the next gallery. But if you haven't done so yet, you should consider reading the travel log before continuing with the pictures.
