PSV cottage 4, looking in from entrance
  (Jul 24, 2004, 03:35pm)

This is the first of two pictures showing the inside of cottage 4 at Petit St. Vincent. The cottage is long and thin, with three "rooms" (actually more like sections since there are only partial walls between the rooms). The first room is a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs. The middle room is the sleeping area, featuring two double-sized beds. The final room is the bathroom.

In this picture, I am standing at the side entrance. You can see the sitting area in the foreground. Through the arch is the bedroom, and past the bedroom another arch to the bathroom. On the right is a wall of sliding glass doors, one after another, that can all be opened up to let in the ocean breezes. Past the sliding glass doors is a deck.

This is the bedroom area in cottage 4. You can see the two double beds, and an archway (to the right) that leads into the bathroom area. When you are sitting up in bed, leaning against the back wall, you face the ocean and can see the Atlantic (assuming you have not closed the curtains).
Cottage 1 on Little Bluff in setting sun
  (Jul 24, 2004, 06:22pm)

For sunset on July 24th I decided to try to walk closer to the west side of the island. I walked partway down the forest path, past conch bay to the northern tip of the island. Then I waited for the sun to set.

This picture was taken by looking east, back at Petit St. Vincent, a few minutes before sunset. I was able to capture the reflection of the setting sun in the windows of cottage 1. Now if had only stayed in that cottage, what a nice view we would have of the sunset every day.
