Sailing on Fortitude (July 18-23)

Grunt and goatfish over white scroll alga (Jul 20, 2004, 03:40pm) After lunch it was back in the water for a second snorkel around Sandy Island. This time we focused on swimming with (and trying to take pictures of) the large schools of fish just off of shore. These were the same schools of fish that attracted the pelicans seen in earlier photographs.
